Nexa network features and limitations

Native asset
NEXA is the native asset of the Nexa network. Its market value can change sharply; a supply schedule does not guarantee purchasing power, investment returns or deposit protection.
Scaling research
Network capacity depends on software, hardware, transaction mix and operating conditions. Scaling proposals and laboratory targets should not be presented as measured production throughput.
Native tokens
Nexa includes support for tokens. Before using a third-party asset, verify the issuer, contract behavior, transfer rules and wallet compatibility; protocol support does not validate an issuer.
Smart contracts
Nexa provides smart-contract tooling. Review the current specifications, test transactions and application code before use. A contract can contain bugs or permissions that affect access to funds.
Proof of Work
Nexa uses proof-of-work consensus. Mining and node software must match the current network rules. Consensus design does not eliminate software, network or operational risks.
Transaction confirmation
Broadcasting a transaction is different from its confirmation. Check its status with a trusted wallet or explorer and follow the recipient’s confirmation policy before treating a transfer as settled.

Mining software, supported hardware, rewards and network rules change over time. Confirm the current requirements with the project and pool before choosing software or hardware. Mining revenue can be lower than operating costs.

Mining Algorithm

Check the current Nexa algorithm specification and the miner release documentation before configuring a pool. A scaling roadmap is not evidence of current throughput or future mining returns.

Mining Rewards

Mining rewards, network difficulty, software compatibility, and profitability change over time. Check the current block height and consensus data in the official Nexa explorer and specifications, then calculate electricity, pool, hardware, and tax costs independently. No mining return is guaranteed.
